Do you have a contract?
We require all of our clients to sign a simple contract agreeing what we will provide on the evening and what requirements the band has. This is nothing out of the ordinary and you can view a sample contract here:
How long do you play for?
Save The Last Dance usually play 2 or 3 x 45 minute performances with short breaks in between. During our breaks we have a DJ ipod mix to keep your guests on the floor.
Do you have public liability insurance and PAT tested equipment?
Yes! Save The Last dance hold public liablity insurance (up to £5,000,000) and all electrical equipment is fully PAT tested.
What will you wear?
We pride ourselves in looking as sophisticated as we sound, our dress code consists of smart blacks and matching ties for the boys and co-ordinating cocktail dresses for the girls.
Do you provide all your own equipment?
We provide a full PA and lighting rig for the band and the dancefloor. For large scale Corporate events extra PA and lighting is sometimes required but we can discuss your options fully before you book.
Will I need to play a deposit?
To secure your booking we ask for a 20% deposit upon signing our booking contract.
What sort of space do you require to play?
As a 5 piece band we’d require around 5m x 3m playing area. We require a larger space if we have other musicians and singers. Contact us for more details.
Any other requirements?
The band requires at least 2 13amp 240volt power sockets. This is almost never a problem at indoor venues, however if you are in a marque with a generator please make sure that is will be able to provide clean spike free power to the band.
We also require refreshments at the venue consisting of soft drinks and a light meal to help us perform at our best. Please download our sample contract for full details.
How much do you charge?
Save The Last Dance are available locally (Surrey & Hampshire) from £1100. Please get in touch for your individual quote.
Where are you based and how far will you travel?
Save The Last Dance is based in Surrey & Hampshire and are happy to travel anywhere in the UK or overseas. The band mainly covers the South East and Midlands area but we are open to offers further afield.
Can we see you perform before making a booking?
Due to the nature of our clientele, most of our gigs are for private events, however there are videos of Save The Last Dance performing live on our web site , and there is always a chance that we can arrange something so please don’t hesistate to ask us .
